Collaborative Pianist
彼得•道格拉斯, a collaborative pianist, 风琴演奏者, 和独奏钢琴家, has established a career as a versatile musician. His performances have taken him throughout the United States and globally to Europe and South America. Dr. Douglas currently serves as Assistant Professor of 音乐 in the 美术 Department at the University of 田纳西州 Southern (斧,TN). He teaches applied piano lessons, class piano, music theory, and accompanies the UT Southern choirs. 此前,博士. Douglas served as staff pianist for the Ball State University Chamber and Concert Choirs, accompanist for Muncie Masterworks Chorale, and 风琴演奏者/pianist for First Presbyterian Church (Muncie, IN).
As a collaborative pianist, Dr. Douglas is in high demand for performances with both singers and instrumentalists. At Ball State University (Muncie, IN), he was previously employed as a piano graduate assistant, serving as répétiteur (rehearsal pianist) for the Ball State Opera Theater and accompanist for advanced ballet classes. He was also frequently engaged as a freelance pianist, playing for voice and instrumental studios, 试镜, 针对, 和演出. Dr. Douglas is also a freelance vocal coach, helping singers learn to utilize correct diction and form historically informed interpretations.
Dr. Douglas earned a Doctor of 艺术s degree in Piano Chamber 音乐 and Accompanying at Ball State University (Muncie, IN); his dissertation topic was “Piano 音乐 for the Ballet Technique Class: An Online Guide.” Dr. Douglas holds a Master of 音乐 degree in Piano Performance from Ball State University, 他毕业了 优等生 with a Bachelor of 音乐 degree in Piano Performance from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of 音乐 (Berea, OH).

安德鲁•马丁, a choral conductor, 临床医生, 和编曲, is in demand as a choral 临床医生 and adjudicator, and his arrangements are performed by high school and university choirs throughout the country. Martin currently serves as Director of Choral Activities and Coordinator of the 美术 Department at the University of 田纳西州 Southern in Pulaski, 田纳西州, after previously serving as Director of Choral Activities at Eastern 伊利诺斯州 University in Charleston, 伊利诺斯州. Martin was also a graduate teaching assistant at Ball State University in Muncie, 印第安纳州, where he conducted the University Choral Union, was the assistant conductor of the Ball State University Singers, and served as an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College.
从2006年到2016年, Martin served as the Director of Choral Activities at Lawrence North High School in 印第安纳波利斯, 印第安纳州. At Lawrence North, he directed as many as six choirs, including two competitive show choirs and an advanced concert choir. His concert choirs consistently earned gold ratings, 以优异的成绩, in ISSMA Organizational and State Qualification events, and his show choirs received numerous awards in competition, including Best Vocals, Best Choreography, 最好的乐队, Best Male and Female Soloists, and Grand Champion. Martin also taught courses in music theory, musical theater, music technology, and group piano.
从2003年到2005年, Martin was the assistant director for “The First Edition” at Lafayette Jefferson High School in Lafayette, 印第安纳州, where he directed the show choir’s backup band and arranged music for performances. Under his direction, Andrew’s bands earned numerous 最好的乐队 awards at competitions throughout the state.
Andrew holds a doctoral degree in choral conducting from Ball State University, where he studied with Andrew Crow and Kerry Glann. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Ball State and a master’s degree in music technology from 印第安纳州 University, Purdue University, 印第安纳波利斯.
